Meredith Music Festival

Meredith 2000 was the festival's tenth year, held December 16 and 17 at the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre, with the theme 'party like you're ten'. Saturday night ran from a solo Tim Rogers set at sunset through Combo La Revelacion, Regurgitator, Spiderbait and Resin Dogs before MEREDOOF took the stage into the small hours. The Posies duo of Ken Stringfellow and Jon Auer got back together and made it to Meredith, alongside a heap more including Paul Dempsey, Augie March, The Fauves, John Butler Trio, Rocket Science, Testeagles and The Porkers. Funny guys Dave Hughes and Greg Fleet cracked gags on the Sunday, and the Meredith Gift was won by Richo the Plumber, a three time champ.
