The Fifteenth Anniversary Meredith, held December 9 to 11, 2005, at the Supernatural Amphitheatre. After the wet weather of 2004, 2005 delivered the finest three days the festival had ever enjoyed, and many called it the best Meredith yet. Musical highlights ran from Peeping Tom, Okkervil River and a 2am Friday blast from You Am I, through a Saturday of Eddy Current Suppression Ring, The Grates, Architecture in Helsinki, The Kills, Stephen Malkmus and The Jicks, Cut Copy, Airbourne and Wolfmother, to a Sunday closer of Matt Walker and Ash Davies, King Marong and Safara, Clare Bowditch and The Feeding Set and Blackalicious, who could only play the Sunday due to their touring schedule. The weekend also introduced Meredith FM, a giant Brazilian circus tent nicknamed Heaven, the first appearance of the City of Ballarat Municipal Brass Band, and Bob Log III flying in from Tucson as the Mystery Act. Traditions were kept with the Silence Wedge, Tai Chi and the Meredith Gift.
