OMD (Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark) are a British synth-pop duo formed in Wirral, England in 1978, consisting of Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys. Known for blending electronic synthesizers with melodic songwriting, they achieved major success with hits like "Enola Gay," "Electricity," and "If You Leave." They are considered pioneers of the synth-pop and new wave movements.
