About ALABAMA 3
Alabama 3 (known as A3 in the US) are a British band from Brixton, London, blending country, blues, gospel, and acid house into a distinctive genre they call "acid country." Best known for writing the theme to The Sopranos ("Woke Up This Morning"), their music features a gritty, lo-fi, preacher-like vocal style over electronic and roots instrumentation.
