For Festival Organisers

Festival management software your crowd actually uses

Better for your crowd. Better for your team.

Most festival management tools stop at the production office. Setline runs on the phones in the crowd: publish your lineup once and every attendee gets a personal schedule, live changes, and your announcements the moment you send them. Free to start.

Get Pro for your festival

Prices in USD. Australian festivals are billed in AUD, plus GST. UK and EU festivals are billed in USD. One festival means one edition of your event. Running multiple events or over 30,000 capacity? Talk to us about tailored tiers.

Pro usually costs less than your print run

Printed programmes cost thousands before gates open, then cost again every time set times move. Setline replaces the handout with a live schedule on every phone, so Pro tends to pay for itself before you've used a single Pro feature.

  • Fewer questions at the info point
  • An auditable safety channel your insurer will like
  • Fuller tents from clash-aware scheduling
  • A greener story for your sponsors
Your print spend $5,000
Setline Pro, first festival $1,000
That's $4,000 ahead before you've used a single Pro feature.

Common questions

Setline tracks hundreds of festivals and tens of thousands of artists worldwide, and publishes the data openly. Organisers get the same engine pointed at their own event.

Does it cost anything to list my festival?
No. Listing on Setline is completely free. Pro features (safety messaging, direct communication, interactive site maps, audience analytics and post-festival surveys) are $2,000 per festival, with 50% off your first festival.
What does Setline Pro cost?
$2,000 per festival, and your first festival is half price at $1,000. Prices are in USD; Australian festivals are billed in AUD plus GST, and UK and EU festivals are billed in USD. Listing stays free either way.
How does the 50% discount work?
Your first festival with Pro is half price: $1,000 instead of $2,000. It applies once, no code needed. After that, Pro is $2,000 per festival.
What counts as one festival?
One edition of your event: one festival, one set of dates. If you run several events or a multi-city series, talk to us about tailored tiers.
Can we start free and upgrade later?
Yes. Most festivals list free first, then add Pro when they want safety messaging, announcements, the live map or analytics. Upgrading takes effect straight away and your listing is never interrupted.
Do my attendees have to pay to use Setline?
No. All the festival planning features are completely free for attendees: building schedules, set-time reminders, finding friends, exploring the lineup, the lot. We offer an optional Setline VIP subscription for attendees who want extra customisation and styles, which helps us keep Pro affordable for festivals.
How does the safety messaging work?
You send a message from the organiser portal and it lands as a push notification on every attendee's phone in seconds. You can target by stage, area or time of day, and every message is logged with a full audit trail, useful evidence for your insurer, licensing team and event safety plan.
Can Setline really replace printed set-time handouts?
Yes, and it's better for you and the attendee. The in-app schedule updates live, so the moment a set moves, every phone already has the correct version. No more wasted reprints, no more out-of-date paper circulating on site, and a cleaner sustainability story. Many organisers drastically cut print volume, going from handouts at the gate to a small stack available on request at the info tent.
Does Setline work with poor signal or no reception on site?
Yes. Setline is built offline first. Once an attendee has opened your festival, the lineup, set times, personal schedules and site info are stored on their phone and keep working with zero bars. Live changes and push announcements do need a connection to arrive, and they sync the moment a phone finds signal again, so an update sent from the portal reaches your crowd as they reconnect.
What information do you need from us?
At a minimum: festival name, dates, venue, and a link to your lineup or set times. Stage maps and extra details help. We can import most public lineup pages automatically.
Can we update set times after listing?
Yes, at any time. Log in to the portal or let us know and we'll push it. Attendees whose scheduled sets have moved get notified automatically.
Can you make our existing site map interactive?
Yes. Send us the map you already produce in PNG, PDF or vector form. We overlay search, category filters, locate-me and friend finder so attendees stop squinting at folded printouts and find what they need in two taps. You keep your design language, the app does the heavy lifting. Last-minute changes (closed gates, new food trucks, weather-driven re-routes) can be pinned on the live map in seconds.
What platforms is Setline available on?
Both iOS and Android. Your festival is accessible to every attendee, on every phone.
Can we brand the experience?
With Pro you can customise your artist images and social shares to be on brand for your festival.
