Animals as Leaders

Animals as Leaders is a Washington, D.C.-based progressive metal trio led by guitarist Tosin Abasi, known for their highly technical, djent-influenced instrumental music. Their sound blends extended-range guitar work, polyrhythmic complexity, and jazz-influenced harmony with heavy, down-tuned riffing. They are widely regarded as pioneers of modern djent and progressive metal.
