Braid is an American emo/indie rock band from Champaign, Illinois, formed in 1993. Known for their intricate guitar work, intertwining dual vocals, and emotionally charged songwriting, they were influential in shaping the mid-to-late 1990s emo and post-hardcore sound. Their 1998 album "Frame & Canvas" is widely regarded as an emo classic.
