Cracker is an American rock band formed in 1991 by David Lowery and Johnny Hickman in Richmond, Virginia. Known for their blend of alternative rock, country, and roots influences, they gained popularity with hits like "Low" and "Teen Angst (What the World Needs Now)." Lowery previously fronted the band Camper Van Beethoven.
