Darude is a Finnish DJ and electronic music producer best known for the massive 1999 hit "Sandstorm," an anthem of early 2000s dance culture. His sound blends energetic trance and eurodance with driving synth riffs and euphoric builds. He has remained active in the global DJ circuit and represented Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2019.
