DeVotchKa is a Denver-based indie rock band formed in the late 1990s, known for their eclectic blend of Eastern European folk, gypsy punk, flamenco, and orchestral pop. Their lush, cinematic sound features unconventional instruments like the theremin, sousaphone, and violin. They gained wider recognition through their contribution to the Little Miss Sunshine soundtrack.
