Discharge are a British hardcore punk band formed in Stoke-on-Trent in 1977, pioneering the raw, abrasive style known as D-beat. Their 1982 debut album *Hear Nothing See Nothing Say Nothing* is considered a landmark of anarcho-punk and proto-thrash metal, influencing countless extreme metal and punk acts worldwide.
