DJ Pierre is a pioneering American DJ and producer from Chicago, best known as one of the founding members of Phuture, the group credited with inventing acid house music. His use of the Roland TB-303 bass synthesizer on tracks like "Acid Tracks" (1987) helped define a new era in electronic dance music. He has remained active in house and acid house scenes as a solo artist and remixer.
