About DJ Playero
DJ Playero is a Puerto Rican DJ and producer widely credited as a pioneering figure in the development of reggaeton. In the early 1990s, he released a series of influential mixtapes (the "Playero" series) that helped shape the underground sound of reggaeton by blending dancehall, hip-hop, and Latin rhythms.
