Eater were a British punk band formed in London in 1976, notable for being one of the youngest groups of the first-wave punk scene. Their debut album *The Album* (1977) captured a raw, energetic sound rooted in fast tempos and teenage aggression, drawing comparisons to the Buzzcocks and the Damned.
