Einherjer is a Norwegian Viking metal band formed in Egersund in 1993. Known for blending black metal aggression with Viking mythology-inspired themes, folk elements, and epic melodic structures, they were pioneers of the Viking metal genre alongside contemporaries like Enslaved and Helheim.
