Estrella Morente is a Spanish flamenco singer born in Granada in 1980, daughter of legendary cantaor Enrique Morente. She is celebrated for her powerful, deeply expressive voice and her ability to honor traditional flamenco forms while occasionally exploring crossover and pop influences. Her 2006 performance of "Volver" for Almodóvar's film brought her wide international recognition.
