Etran de L'Aïr are a guitar band from Agadez, Niger, often called the "Stars of the Air." They play a hypnotic, repetitive style of Tuareg desert blues rooted in traditional Hausa and Tuareg music, characterized by interlocking electric guitar lines and driving rhythms.
