Fat Freddy's Drop is a seven-piece band from Wellington, New Zealand, known for blending dub, reggae, soul, and live electronic music with extended improvisational jams. Formed in the late 1990s, they built a strong following through live performances before releasing their debut album "Based on a True Story" in 2005.
