Focus is a Dutch progressive rock band formed in Amsterdam in 1969, led by guitarist Jan Akkerman and vocalist/keyboardist/flautist Thijs van Leer. Known for blending rock with jazz, classical, and folk influences, their music features intricate instrumentals, yodeling, and virtuosic performances. Their 1971 album "Moving Waves" brought international acclaim.
