About GARY BARTZ
Gary Bartz is an American alto saxophonist who emerged in the 1960s jazz scene, playing with Art Blakey and Miles Davis before leading his own groups. He blended hard bop with spiritual jazz and funk influences, notably through his band Ntu Troop in the 1970s.
