About Gilberto Gil
Gilberto Gil is a Brazilian musician and composer widely regarded as one of the founding figures of the Tropicália movement in the late 1960s. His music blends MPB, samba, reggae, and African rhythms with poetic lyricism, reflecting a broad multicultural influence. He later served as Brazil's Minister of Culture from 2003 to 2008.
