Green Velvet is the alias of Chicago-based DJ and producer Curtis Alan Jones, a key figure in the Chicago house and techno scene since the early 1990s. Known for his hypnotic, driving beats and quirky, often surreal vocal hooks, his tracks like "Preacher Man" and "Flash" are underground dance music classics.
