Grupo Niche is a Colombian salsa orchestra founded in 1979 in Cali by Jairo Varela. Known for its polished "salsa romántica" and "salsa dura" sound, the group became one of the most influential salsa ensembles in Latin America, with hits like "Cali Pachanguero" and "Una Aventura."
