About Heatwave
Heatwave was a multinational funk and soul band formed in the mid-1970s, best known for the disco-era hits "Boogie Nights" and "Always and Forever." Led by guitarist Johnnie Wilder Jr. and keyboardist Rod Temperton, the group blended smooth R&B, funk, and pop with lush orchestral arrangements.
