About Hypnotic Brass Ensemble
Hypnotic Brass Ensemble is a Chicago-based brass collective formed by eight brothers, sons of jazz trumpeter Phil Cohran. They blend jazz, funk, hip-hop and Afrobeat influences, known for their horn-driven grooves and collaborations with artists like Mos Def and Damon Albarn.
