About Jale
Jale was a Canadian indie rock band from Halifax, Nova Scotia, active in the 1990s and associated with the "Halifax Pop Explosion" scene. Fronted by multiple female vocalists, they released albums on Sub Pop and Murderecords, blending jangly guitars with melodic pop-rock songwriting.
