Jon Batiste is a New Orleans-born multi-instrumentalist, singer, and bandleader known for his exuberant blend of jazz, R&B, soul, and pop. He gained widespread recognition as the bandleader on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and as the composer and performer behind the Pixar film Soul. His 2021 album We Are earned him five Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year.
