Kahil El'Zabar is a Chicago-based jazz percussionist, drummer, and bandleader associated with the AACM, known for leading groups such as the Ritual Trio and Ethnic Heritage Ensemble. This project reinterprets John Coltrane's landmark album "A Love Supreme" through his spiritual jazz and Afrocentric improvisational approach.
