Kula Shaker are a British rock band formed in London in the early 1990s, fronted by Crispian Mills. Their sound blends 1960s psychedelic rock with Indian classical influences, Britpop, and hard rock, drawing heavily on mantras, Sanskrit lyrics, and Eastern mysticism. Their 1996 debut album K reached number one in the UK.
