Living Colour is a New York-based rock band formed in 1984, known for blending hard rock and heavy metal with funk, jazz, and R&B influences. Fronted by vocalist Corey Glover with guitarist Vernon Reid's virtuosic playing at the core, they broke barriers as a Black rock band. Their debut album *Vivid* (1988) produced the iconic hit "Cult of Personality."
