Maâlem Mehdi Nassouli is a Moroccan Gnawa musician and master (maâlem) known for blending traditional Gnawa spiritual music with contemporary influences including jazz and electronic music. He plays the sintir (guembri), a three-stringed bass lute central to Gnawa rituals, and has collaborated with international artists to bring Gnawa music to global audiences.
