Mala (Mark Lawrence) is a pioneering British producer and DJ from South London, widely regarded as one of the founding architects of dubstep. A co-founder of Digital Mystikz and the DMZ club night, his sound is characterized by deep, hypnotic sub-bass, sparse rhythms, and a meditative, cinematic atmosphere.
