Matchbox Twenty is an American rock band formed in Orlando, Florida in 1995, fronted by vocalist Rob Thomas. Known for their polished, emotionally driven sound, they blend post-grunge grit with mainstream pop-rock hooks. Their debut album *Yourself or Someone Like You* (1996) became one of the best-selling albums of the decade.
