Mess Esque is a collaborative project between Australian musician Mick Turner (Dirty Three) and Melbourne-based singer Helen Franzmann (Autumnleaf). The duo create sparse, atmospheric indie folk songs built around Turner's guitar work and Franzmann's understated vocals.
