About Michael Day
Classically trained from a young age, Michael Day composes intricate folk/roots music with an existential flare, inviting the listener to ask meaningful and perhaps unnerving questions like 'how the heck do we do life?'. Weaving honesty, vulnerability and tongue in cheek lyricism with folk storytelling, Day’s music reflects on the beauty and absurdity of being a human while not taking himself too seriously. Since singing on stage with Boy and Bear, Michael has a renewed vigor for songwriting and performing.
