About Mike Callander

Mike Callander is one of Australia’s most dynamic DJs, an innovative producer and remixer, and co-founder (alongside Christian Vance and Craig McWhinney) of the Australian record label Haul Music. His productions and remixes for the imprint have earned widespread international support from a diverse range of artists including Konrad Black, Agoria, Len Faki, Deetron, Hernan Cattaneo, Danny Tenaglia, Nick Warren and many more, reflecting his versatility and cross-genre appeal. Beyond Haul Music, he has collaborated with figures such as Davide Carbone and T-Rek, while also working on mix and production projects for acts including The Queen’s Head and DJ Kuya. As a DJ, Callander first made his mark through his genre-blending sets at his Melbourne club Fokus in the early 2000s, later holding residencies at influential venues such as Sunny, Ffour, Nano and Honkytonks, and performing at major festivals including Rainbow Serpent, Stereosonic, Creamfields, Future Music and Summadayze. His international career has taken him across Europe, North America and Asia, playing alongside artists including Michael Mayer, Radio Slave, Luciano, Trentemøller, Mathew Jonson and M.A.N.D.Y, while earning praise from peers such as DJ T., who has described him as one of Australia’s finest. A regular presence on Triple J and Kiss FM, Callander continues to balance club-focused output with global touring and collaborative studio work, cementing his reputation as a key figure in Australian electronic music.
