About Minyo Crusaders
Minyo Crusaders are a Tokyo-based ensemble who blend traditional Japanese minyo folk music with Latin, African, cumbia, and Caribbean rhythms. Formed around 2016, the large group reimagines regional folk songs through a vibrant, danceable world music lens, gaining international recognition for their energetic live performances.
