About Moor Mother
Moor Mother is the project of Philadelphia-based poet and musician Camae Ayewa, known for her abrasive, politically charged blend of noise, avant-garde, and experimental hip-hop. Her work confronts Black history, trauma, and liberation through dense soundscapes and spoken word. She is also a founding member of the art collective Black Quantum Futurism.
