New Pants is a Chinese rock band formed in Beijing in 1996, known for pioneering punk and new wave-influenced sounds in China. Fronted by Peng Lei, the band later incorporated synth-pop and electronic elements, gaining renewed mainstream popularity after appearing on the show "The Big Band."
