Orchid was an American screamo/hardcore punk band from Amherst, Massachusetts, active from 1999 to 2003. Known for their chaotic, abrasive sound, they were pioneers of the "chaotic hardcore" subgenre, blending frantic song structures with raw, shrieking vocals and dense, dissonant instrumentation.
