Palehound is the indie rock project of Ellen Kempner, formed in Boston and based in New York. Known for introspective lyricism and jangly guitar work, Kempner's music blends lo-fi indie rock with folk-influenced songwriting. Her albums include *Dry Food* (2015) and *Black Friday* (2019).
