About Pete Wylie & The Mighty Wah
Pete Wylie is a Liverpool-born singer-songwriter and founding member of post-punk act The Mighty Wah! (also known as Wah!). Known for anthemic, emotionally charged rock with sweeping guitar and passionate vocals, his most celebrated work includes the 1984 hit "The Story of the Blues." He has been a significant figure in the post-punk and new wave scenes since the late 1970s.
