About Peter Steele
Peter Steele was the bassist, vocalist, and primary songwriter of gothic/doom metal band Type O Negative. Known for his deep, resonant bass-baritone voice and brooding, darkly romantic songwriting, he crafted a signature sound blending heavy metal, gothic rock, and dark romanticism. He passed away in 2010.
