About Public Image Ltd
Public Image Ltd (PiL) is an English band formed by John Lydon after the breakup of the Sex Pistols in 1978. Their early work fused post-punk with dub, funk, and experimental sounds, particularly on the influential album "Metal Box." The band pioneered a dissonant, bass-heavy sound that shaped post-punk and alternative music.
