About Skids
The Skids were a Scottish post-punk band formed in Dunfermline in 1977, fronted by Richard Jobson with guitarist Stuart Adamson. Known for energetic anthemic rock with Celtic influences, they scored UK hits including "Into the Valley" before disbanding in 1982, with Adamson going on to form Big Country.
