About Skyclad
Skyclad are an English band widely credited as pioneers of folk metal, formed in 1990 by former Sabbat guitarist Steve Ramsey. They blend thrash metal riffs with fiddle-driven folk melodies and socially conscious lyrics, with Martin Walkyier's vocals defining their early sound.
