Sleeper were a British indie rock band formed in London in the early 1990s, fronted by vocalist and guitarist Louise Wener. Known for their sharp, witty lyrics and catchy guitar-driven sound, they were prominent figures in the Britpop movement, releasing acclaimed albums including "Smart" (1995) and "The It Girl" (1996).
