Sortilège is a French heavy metal band formed in Paris in the early 1980s, known as one of the pioneering acts of the French metal scene. Their sound blends traditional heavy metal with melodic hard rock influences, featuring powerful vocals by Christian "Zouille" Augustin. Their albums, including *Métamorphose* (1984) and *Larmes de Héros* (1985), are considered classics of French metal.
