About Soundgarden/Chris Cornell
Soundgarden was a Seattle band fronted by Chris Cornell, pioneers of the grunge movement who blended heavy metal riffs with alternative rock and psychedelic influences. Cornell's powerful, wide-ranging voice and songs like "Black Hole Sun" and "Spoonman" made them one of the genre's defining acts. Cornell also had a successful solo career and fronted Audioslave.
