Spiderbait are an Australian alternative rock band formed in Finley, New South Wales in 1990. Known for their energetic, quirky sound, they scored major success with a cover of "Black Betty" and hits like "Buy Me a Pony." They became the first Australian band to have consecutive number one songs on triple j's Hottest 100.
